To find media created yesterday without you picking each item, the app needs to read your library. If you prefer, tap Choose older photos or videos instead—the system picker shares only the items you select.
iOS decides when background work runs based on battery, usage, and connectivity, so timing varies. You can always open the app and tap Scan yesterday.
Change Photos and Notifications access in the iPhone Settings app under Social Media Hook Finder. Clear saved picks in the app’s Settings tab. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
